Monday, September 12. We pray that our students are not passive and uninvolved in learning, but show initiative. “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth” (1 John 3:18).
Tuesday, September 13. Father, save the lives of the students we love, that they would have the joy of knowing You! “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4)
Wednesday, September 14. Lord God, give our students the ability to understand and to acquire knowledge. “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better” (Eph 1:17).
Thursday, September 15. We pray that our little (or big) learners would be excellent listeners. “The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice” (Proverbs 12:15).
Friday, September 16. Father, help our students to grow and mature. “And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the Lord and with people” (1 Samuel 2:26).
Saturday, September 17. May our children be good neighbors to others. “The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these” (Mark 12:31).
Sunday, September 18. We ask, Lord, that Your Spirit to be at work in our students, filling them with hope and protecting them from disappointment or despair. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13).
