June 28-July 4, 2021: Weekly Prayer Calendar

A Month of Blessings from God

Monday, June 28: Thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit! “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:26-27).

Tuesday, June 29: Hear the Shepherd’s voice today: “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one” (John 10:27-30).

Wednesday, June 30: Jesus is always with us. “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20b).

Our Freedom in Christ

Thursday, July 1: Thank you Jesus that through your death we have been set free—no longer slaves to sin. “For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—because anyone who has died has been freed from sin” (Romans 6:6-7).

Friday, July 2: Give thanks that our salvation, our freedom is not earned but is a gift. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Saturday, July 3: Ask the Lord for wisdom to know how to live out your freedom in Christ. “Be careful, however, that the exercise of your freedom does not become a stumbling block to the weak” (1 Corinthians 8:9).

Sunday, July 4: “To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests for serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen” (Revelation 1:5b-6).
